veteran\; esteemed partner\, director and ambassador of Left Hand Brewing
Company and Chef Sarah Amorese - owner and chocolatier of Piece\, Love &am
p\; Chocolate.\n(must be 21 years old)\nBeer truly loves chocolate... Hist
oric cousins and perfect partners\, beer and chocolate are great companion
 s. If you have never tried this decadent fellowship\, you are missing some
thing very special\, indeed! For those lucky few that have already experie
nced this decadent marriage of food and drink\, you will instantly light u
p and say\, "Yes\, please!"\nComing to Longmont for the first time on Jeff
's home turf\, Jeff\, Chef Sarah and the amazing Left Hand Brewing Company
take craft beer and chocolate pairing to the next level in this unique cl
ass by exploring the history\, the ingredients and the creative craft proc
esses behind these two celebrated fermented foods.  Why do craft beer and
chocolate complement each other so well? Let us guide you in this class t
hrough all the delicious reasons why!\nCraft beer and artisan chocolate\,
having so many things in common\, are the perfect pairing partnership! In
the class\, we reveal the delicious similarities between chocolate and bee
 r. They are both fermented foods believed to be created by happy accidents
. Each has its own delicate balance of sweet and bitter flavors. Malt beer
is naturally very sweet and would not be palatable without the balancing
bitterness of hops. In much the same way\, chocolate is based on roasted a
nd bitter cocoa balanced by sugar. In both cases\, a perfect union is crea
ted in the balance between bitter and sweet. This is when beer and chocola
te are at their most decadent best.\nWhether craft beer is served with a c
hocolate dessert or the chocolate is brewed right into the beer\, the two
work incredibly well together. Both share an affinity for a wide variety o
 f foods such as nuts\, fruit\, and yes\, even bacon!\nWith a focus on the
beloved and small batch craft production of both chocolate and beer\, this
is an elegant and  metaphysical exploration of the physiology of tasting
beer and chocolate together. It will excite and enlighten your palate unl
ike any other food pairing.\nWithin the magnificent Tasting Room at Left H
and Brewing Company\, surrounded by kegs and barrels and taps - oh my! - w
e are very proud to offer this wildly entertaining\, informative and fun e
vening.\nThis interactive class is sure to impart a deeper knowledge and a
ppreciation of how fine chocolate and craft beer are created and how\, mor
e importantly\, they belong together... all you need is love... and to reg
ister quickly. We have only 45 seats available and they are sure to sell o
ut. What a sweet kick-off to the holiday season!\nTo give you an insight o
