Chocolate Baking Classes & Events

The culinary wizards at PL&C offer pastry, chocolate wrangling, and baking classes at their kitchen in Boulder, Colorado.

Join us in demystifying macarons, handcrafting truffles, tempering chocolate, puffing the puffiest pastry, and baking the most delicious lava cakes every week!

Chocolate Tasting & Pairing Workshops

We also offer a series of interactive chocolate pairing workshops, including our Craft Beer & Chocolate Dessert Pairing Workshop (co-hosted with Jeff Mendel of Lefthand Brewing Company) and our Fine Wine & Chocolate Dessert Pairing Workshop.

Our Chocolate Appreciation 101 Workshop is an entertaining and educational look at bean-to-bar production and chocolate tastings from around the world.

Beer & Chocolate

Booking a Private Chocolate Baking Class

All of our classes are available for your private group – makes a fantastic foodie family reunion, bachelor or bachelorette party, office excursion, or birthday event. We offer our private classes to 10 maximum participants, and it requires one-time fee of $750 for any of our chocolate baking classes and $850 for either a chocolate truffles or tempering class. Take a look at our current class roster on the right to see some of your many options. These classes are held on-site in our Boulder, CO kitchen only. Please call for scheduling.

Class Policy

Full payment is required at registration. Notice of cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance of reserved cooking class. No refunds will be issued for chocolate pairing classes – this includes beer or wine and chocolate pairing classes.

If the class you are interested in is full, you may call (303) 449-4804 to sign up on our waiting list for that class. We will notify you as soon as po
ssible or by 4:00pm the day before that class. Many of our classes book-up quickly, so we highly recommend you make your reservations early.

Register online, in-store or by phone (303) 449-4804 – Visa, Mastercard or Amex. Class participants receive a 15% discount on all items purchased in the shop the same day of their cooking class. This does not apply to future orders or classes. Our frequent buyer’s program does not apply to our classes.
