Six Sassy Sensational Sauces…

Is any dessert complete without the punch of a delicious sauce? One of the four primary components to a memorable dessert, sauce is only second to the main item on the plate. In this fast-paced class, we  cover the basics of terrific dessert sauce making. We will start off simple, you will create 2 different Fruit Coulis and then move onto an eggy soft and fruity Moscato d’Asti Sabayon. Then when you have tested out your sauce legs, we will dive into the more complicated families, Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce and our Signature PL&C Salted Caramel Sauce. The last sauce you will create will be “The Mother Sauce”, Creme Anglaise! “Nappe?” (said with one eyebrow raised like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean, “Savvy?”)

Oh, but the class is not complete quite yet! Chef Sarah will show you how to use your sauces to create beautiful visual and tasty compositions on your plates to show off your masterpiece pastries you will create at your next gathering.

Due to the planning and set-up of this class, early registration is crucial. Late sign-up will not be allowed and registration will end for this class on Thursday, April 27th, and a minimum of 5 participants is needed to conduct this class – please sign-up early.

***This class requires a minimum booking of 5 participants. In the event this class is canceled because we do not meet the minimum registration requirement, you will be contacted no less than 24 hours before the scheduled class start and a full refund for store credit or a future class of choice based on availability will be issued back to you. For participants – a minimum of 48 hrs is requested for cancellation and a full refund for store credit or a future class of choice based on availability will be issued back to you. Any cancellation made with less than a 48 hr notice before class start time will have no refund of any sort. Thank-you for your understanding.
