Beyond wielding a blow torch to brulee (caramelize) the sugar atop your Creme Brulee, Chef Sarah will also teach you the basics of how to make these elegantly decadent and chocolaty soft baked custards. You’ll also create delicious and versatile chocolate pastry creams that are the perfect filling for fresh fruit tarts, eclairs, cream puffs or the ultimate chocolate cream pie .  And, be assured – she’ll also share some fun, creative ways to plate them up.

Learning and serving these classic chocolate dessert custards are sure to make you an “egg”statically sweets hero, indeed!

With a handful of basic, superior quality ingredients, the primary focus of this class is on the methodology of baked and stirred custards. You will learn simple techniques that will ensure your dessert success time and time again.

Due to the planning and set-up of this class, early registration is crucial. Late sign-up will not be allowed and registration will end for this class on Wednesday, February 15th, and a minimum of 5 participants is needed to conduct this class – please sign-up early.

In the event this class is canceled because we do not meet the minimum registration requirement, you will be contacted no less than 24 hours before the scheduled class start and a full refund for store credit or a future class of choice based on availability will be issued back to you. For participants – a minimum of 48 hrs notice before class start time is requested for cancellation and a full refund for store credit or a future class of choice based on availability will be issued back to you.
