All of you who know our cherished Chef Genny are well aware of the fact that pies (of all kinds) are very near and dear to her fruit lovin’ (and chocolate dipped) heart. She has created this class to honor the lighter and brighter dessert cravings of summer.
In this class, Genny shares three generations of her family’s baking secrets with heart warming stories to charm you. In addition, you will learn the basics of creating the perfect tender and flakey pie crust, how to balance the delicate flavor notes for a winning filling, and over-all pie terminology including single and double crust, gallette, tart, all-things chiffon, custard, meringue, cream, fruit & nut… etc., etc!
Not only will you leave with your masterpiece pie, but you will be consumed with the urge to encapsulate many of your future meals in a crust of some sort – no kidding!

Due to the planning and set-up of this class, early registration is crucial. Late sign-up will not be allowed and registration will end for this class on Friday, June 28th, and a minimum of 5 participants is needed to conduct this class – please sign-up early.
